I have never done pole before and my upper body is not strong. Can I still join?
It is a totally BIG YES. The main aim of pole dance class is to help you build the necessary strength along with the other fitness components.

Remember we all come from the same place. I once used to be beginner myself and I was not definetly strong as I am now...
EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
Is there an age limit for attending pole dance classes?
You need to be 18+ years old to attend any classes at APS.

There is NO age limit to pole dance and be freely yourself, everyone is welcomed at our studio.
What should I wear?
Pole classes: bra top and shorts or sticky leggings.

Pole Contemporary flow: leggings and knee pads (optional).

These are the perfect outfits for pole dance. You need to make friction against the pole through your skin, so be in shorts and bra are needed if you want to be safe on the pole (we don't want you slide off the pole). You can do the warm up in leggings if you feel more comfortable, then wear shorts when you need skin friction for pole tricks.

There are also sticky leggings available for those whom are often cold or don't feel comfortable in wearing shorts.
